Music Feeds the Muse: Creation Born of Curiosity

If you’ve never heard of Rodrigo y Gabriela, you’re in for a treat. They have a sound that’s all their own, a strange and electrifying fusion of flamenco and heavy metal produced with nothing more than nylon strings and nimble fingers.

It’s music that must have been born of curiosity, a will to explore, to ask what if and dive for the answer.

It’s obvious they’ve done their work. They’ve mastered their craft.

But it’s equally obvious they’ve had their fun playfully exploring the possibilities of their chosen instruments.

We should all be so curious.

Gosh, this was exactly the bolt of lightning I needed to wake up to my true purpose, Ken!

Btw, here’s a video by Tommy Emmanuel, the godfather of this type of divine insanity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lbvSBNLLoo
